Bart Willoughby
Singer/songwriter and music workshop facilitator
Formerly of "No Fixed Address", "Mixed Relations", "Yothu Yindi", "Coloured Stone" and Shane Howard's "Goanna"
Bart is the most powerful influence in contemporary Aboriginal music outside of country music, Just as Jamaican reggae, Afro-American blues and jazz and inner London Punk movements developed from the music of the grass roots into a world music movement, Bart Willoughby has laid the musical foundation for the development of a distinctively Australian Aboriginal music that will, one day, be every bit as significant globally as the new waves of music last century.
John Tracey

John's presentations explore notions of Aboriginal sovereignty, land rights and reconciliation as well as the history of the frontier wars, colonisation, the Aboriginal “protection” laws and modern indigenous policies.

Aunty April Munday
- Stand-up comic (dont let her know we called her that) and a mistress of ceremony.
extract from Rolling stone Magazine, Aug 2005 "As the relationship between Peter Garret and Aunty April developed, whatever it was, it caused great friction with the other members of Midnight Oil. Aunty Aprils constant presence in the recording studio and her obvious influence on Garrett, especially her insistence that one day he could be a brilliant politician was often the cause of arguments amongst the band. Those close to the band believe Aunty April was the real reason for Midnight Oil breaking up."
